Today we are going to do a reading activity in class.
You must take your QR Code, because we are going to use Plickers app.
First we are going to read a text, and after we will use our QR Code to answer questions related to what we have read.
Remember, that you must hold your card and rotate it choosing the correct aswer (A, B,C,or D) at the top.
If you couldn´t attend to class that day, do not worry. The link does not work because it is thinked for a live session ( I need to scan with my phone, your QR Code to see if your answers are correct or not)
However you can answer the questions, I have created on Plickers app, because there is an option of printing them.

Hi Silvia!
ResponderEliminarFirst of all, congratulations on your blog, I really like the design and the proposed activities.
I wanted to focus specifically on this activity since the other day I used the plicker tool for the first time in class with my students and I was fascinated. It is a resource very similar to kahoot, unlike the fact that it does not require that each student have an electronic device in the classroom, which is a great advantage and can be especially useful in schools with fewer resources, so it compensates in a way the digital divide.
In addition, another advantage that it has over kahoot is that students do not rush to answer (in kahoot, the one who answers the correct option first has a higher score, which often leads them to make mistakes for wanting to answer before the rest and not paying attention) . Thus, the competitive factor that students like so much is maintained but the number of errors decreases due to this differential characteristic with respect to kahoot.
I encourage from here to anyone who has not used it to try it, it is especially recommended to review content already worked on.
